Renovation of an apartment for a young couple

It is a small apartment divided in half between the sleeping area and the living area. The entrance leads immediately into the open space that embraces the entire living area, from the kitchen to the breakfast, dining and living area.

The client's request was to create an apartment in an industrial style but in a modern key, with cleaner lines tending to minimal, few decorative objects, vintage furniture but of design and style.

The back wall covered with wallpaper (Wall & decò) of the living area creates a three-dimensional picture that screens the openings towards the sleeping areas and the toilets. Since wallpaper is back in fashion, flush-to-the-wall doors (ECLISSE) seem to be the solution that best follows this trend.

The kitchen in commodore green fenix (STOSA CUCINE Arredotre) fits into two fronts in the open space environment, its velvety materiality to the touch creates the right dynamism to the environment, while the peninsula breaks the linearity of the project, through the presence of a effect detail, which is the AIRFORCE hood that optimizes space and gives dynamism to the composition together with the snack counter that pushes holes with soft lines beyond the volume.

The bathroom, narrow and long, has a double washbasin placed on a shelf that extends along its entire length, right into the shower, built flush with the floor. The retro sanitary wall, on the other hand, dares with a resin wallpaper that with a geometric design draws the entire wall as if it were a painting.

The bedroom with very compact dimensions leaves no room for disorder, a bed (Presotto Italia Design), the sides of which are defined by the pendant lights and bedside tables (Kartell) on a bottom covered in ceramic (Marazzi) that creates a headboard unique. The open wardrobe, on the other hand, is defined by the large sliding doors in satin smoked glass, playing with the transparencies and colors of its contents.

A house that must meet the needs of the clients, with young, trendy but above all smart and functional finishes.
