The project was born of an attempt to answer the needs of the Italian municipality of Casalgrande to create a new and contemporary centrality, critical and contextualized in a territory of diffuse and spontaneous urbanization, the city considered diffuse. What does "making the center" in such a scenario means? What is the real value of public space and its boundaries? What is your real ability to aggregate the various spatiality’s in a single identifiable body? The project proposes symbolic and programmatic actions in contrast to the disorderly urban of Casalgrande, giving some order to the tissue and giving identity to the group that live this region.
