CCB Apartment

The CCB project is born from a sensitive look at family life transitions and the need for spaces that keep pace with the maturation of its residents. Designed for a couple with two young adult children, the apartment was conceived as a versatile setting: a home that embraces the current moment, but already prepares for the future "empty nest" and the subsequent arrival of an extended family. This premise of longevity guided the main civil intervention, which integrated the fourth suite into the social area, resulting in a generous and fluid living room where coexistence is the central axis.

The fluidity of the environments is dictated by an intelligent sectorization, where the dining room, the living room, and the TV room connect through a multifunctional island sofa. This integration extends to the wine cellar, with a more intimate atmosphere, and to the pantry, where the main highlight is an organic island of sculptural design, strategically thought to serve as a meeting point for appetizers while the owner — a gastronomy enthusiast — receives friends.

All this social flow orbits the central volume of the elevator and hall, which was transformed into a masterpiece of woodwork. Clad in stained walnut veneer, the "box" features a technical mosaic where cutouts in different directions explore the natural movement of the wood cathedrals, creating a unique and dynamic visual texture.

The materiality of the project reinforces a minimalist and sensory aesthetic. To ensure a neutral base and simplified maintenance, a light-toned synthetic floor was chosen, which dialogues harmoniously with the walls and ceiling finished in cementitious texture.

This chromatic unity promotes color nuances and a velvety tactile sensation, allowing the garden signed by Bia Abreu, visible through the large glass panes, to "embrace" the entire social area. The contrast between the minimalism of the surfaces and the rusticity of specific elements — such as the powder room sink in natural stone and the dining table in Vitória Régia marble — confers a balanced and authentic sophistication to the property.

The furniture curation rounds off the narrative with design pieces that span decades. The wine cellar environment receives the Lina armchairs, by Lider, while the living room is punctuated by Martin Eisler's iconic Reversible armchair and the Blast coffee tables in stained concrete.

One of the great treasures of the collection is the chaise armchair from the Swiss brand De Sede, a 70s classic that brings history and personality to the layout. In the private area, comfort is prioritized in three suites, with emphasis on the couple's suite, which features His and Hers bathrooms. Uniting cutting-edge automation and precision woodwork, the project consolidates itself as a timeless refuge that celebrates Brazilian design and contemporary hospitality.
