This project aimed at the seismic rehabilitation of the entire building and took place in 5 phases. It included both an extensive interior refurbishment and a complete refurbishment of the facades. The proposed concept was able to integrate and position imposing structural braces, which are now an integral part of the rhythm and language of this building. Typical secondary school of the 70s, this project helps to brighten the internal atmospheres by generously increasing the windows.

We chose concrete architectural masonry at the bottom to assure durability and two colors aluminum above. Finally, the beautiful autumn colors of Charlevoix are in the spotlight and give life to all the facades with colored fiber cement panels.
