A classic 1960s bungalow re-imagined to bring out the beauty in its solid mid-century bones. This down-to-the-studs rebuild included a large addition for a new kitchen and living area and a new detached garage/workshop facing the back alley. New skylights and floor-to-ceiling windows bathe the new home in natural light.

What was the brief?
The homeowners wanted a Hygge-inspired kitchen along with a modern, open floor plan and room to accommodate their growing family. The additional basement development with enhancements to the walk-out and decks allowed for additional usable space.
