This exciting scheme will provide improved new facilities to replace an existing dilapidated sports centre, enabling the establishment of a centre of excellence for hockey & cricket with increased opportunity for membership growth and development. Recognition has been given to the needs of the community and the opportunities this project offers to encourage an increase of public participation in sporting activities. An additional artificial turf pitch is proposed as well as a new sports hall to serve as an indoor training facility and help to accommodate currently deprived sports. The new pavilion will provide a home for community club based sports with new changing and storage facilities, administration area and meeting room, large shared bar area suitable for functions with a connected observation terrace.
