The design concept for Club21 IconSiam draws inspiration from Bangkok’s layered urban history along the Chao Phraya riverfront, the precision of technical drawing, and the abstract manipulation of form. The project explores retail architecture as a spatial system — one that extends, stretches, and reconfigures architectural elements to create emotional and dynamic experiences.
Fashion retail is reimagined as an open and fluid environment, reflecting the experimental and gender-fluid spirit of Club21’s brands. Rather than following conventional layouts, the space encourages movement, discovery, and alternative ways of engaging with products.
Cold-toned materials and elongated geometries define strong visual perspectives from the exterior, while the interior creates a subtle sense of detachment from the everyday. Layered textures and gradual spatial transitions reinforce ideas of fluidity, identity, and transformation.
Suspended displays, staggered platforms, and elongated installations replace traditional shelving, allowing products to become part of the architectural composition. The result is a multisensory retail experience where fashion, space, and identity intersect.
