Vapor as Architects

The project had the alteration of the existing coverage in the property but with the preservation of its original volume, in accordance with the legal approval requirements used. A shed with a large roof coinciding with the rise of the ground. For the project, a break of this new metal cover is made at its top, a natural lighting sheed of the restaurant, and basis for a technical platform of the necessary machines.

This characteristic of the large shed, the sobriety of the finishes, and the prominence of the roof pitch were preserved. All the support areas, preparation kitchen, stocks, bathrooms, changing rooms, office were concentrated and a later volume on two floors, server castle hidden by structural masonry and retaining concrete and staggering of the original land. Loose in the main shed, next to the tables and dining places, a single piece sets up the main operating areas of the restaurant, bar and finishing kitchen. In metal structure, slab closures or masonry, this volume responds to its functions, reveals its operation, concentrates the hall facilities, and creates the flow dynamics and ambiences of the restaurant hall. A machine in space, open to visitation and coexistence.
