Studio 17 as Architects

Conceptual Brief
The design is also dominated by the use of unconventional materials to justify the theme of the project. The ceilings within the project have been customized to have fabricated panels to highlight the main business of Surat city. The color bands at the reception table leads the person to the destination by following them.

Reception and waiting
The entrance has Nail and Wire art which was also done to show the complexity of software development in a very beautiful way; the idea was also to strike a balance between the undone and the overdone.

Nail and Wire art
Driven by a brief that demanded space for Coruscate’s business to have an adaptable office; the design accommodates a varying need for teams to function in an assortment of team sizes.

Work spaces
Red flag office for doing the critical discussions, Game zone and telephone booths have been planned closer to the employee area acting as a point of interaction for teams to come together, exchange ideas and socialize.

Work spaces and other usabilities
Agility in planning was made to place common spaces next to the main circulation passage to optimize the usability and utility of these spaces.

Circulation
Metal sheets cut by water jet technique are used at the main employee area to highlight the company story.

Art pieces in the office have their own unique tale to tell and are thoughtfully placed within specific areas in the office. Use of Sanskrit Shloka and translating them in computer language gives a completely unique feel to the office. Moreover, the curtains are also designed defining their field - one with the binary language, other with the torn out pages of a book related to IT and another one with the quotations by famous personalities gives the space a feel of being constatantly motivated. Material applicability on walls, partitions and other areas are greatly ‘art’ inspired.

Conceptual Diagrams
This office design exemplifies a well-balanced space where collaboration happens for a purpose and spaces which enable collaboration are designed with supreme accessibility across the office. Hub spaces like 360-degree openable conference room.

Conference area
The plan follows symmetry and balance is inherent in a symmetrical composition. The whole interior of the space is balanced by another important area which is Pit Stop - conference room of the office. It is circular in shape as the shape resists noise penetrating from the outside, thus providing better acoustics. Also, circular spaces provides visual balance and are more energy efficient.
