CT Hub is an eleven-storey building with two levels of retail space and nine levels of light industrial offices and production facilities, totalling 34,000 square metres. The building's massing is conceived as a 'jewel box', with forms and patterns embossed and carved out to create courtyards, gardens and terraces.
The building facade constitutes a complex lattice pattern, combining straight and 20-degree angled lines drawn from digital LED displays. A full glass frontage gives the building an ultramodern, sleek identity. Visual variation is presented in the form of recessed balconies on the facade. These recesses fit playfully yet precisely into the facade's lattice, as pieces of a puzzle would. By night, these recesses glow, while LED accents highlight the facade's lattice pattern. As the city sleeps, the building seemingly comes to life.
Complementing the strong edges are pockets of lush gardens in the main courtyard and cascading terraces, further lending to the building's architectural sophistication. Spaces of relaxation and respite are thus created for both tenants and visitors alike, and these areas are dotted with tropical species. The bold, new design of CT Hub, coupled with its prominent location at the junction of Kallang Avenue and Kallang Bahru, makes it the ideal place for industrial businesses and high-end retail.
