At Straits of Heron by ONG&ONG, modern Peranakan-inspired homes sit gently within the landscape, embracing light, air, and context. The architecture balances heritage and contemporary living through thoughtful proportions, materiality, and a strong connection to its surroundings.

Photographed on a rare sunny day during the rainy season, the project revealed a richness of texture, light, and shadow that highlights its relationship with place. Rather than imposing on the landscape, the homes belong to it—creating a residential environment where architecture, nature, and everyday life exist in harmony.
