The Cuatro Aguas´s house is proposed as a single massive volume emptied at the center, with four independent roof slopes, two towards the garden and two towards the interior of the project creating a water courtyard or impluvium. 

Through a compact morphology and the choice of appropriate materials, a large Chilean clay tile roof and thick brick walls, Casa Cuatro Aguas creates a comfortable shade where the sun ravages the Chicureo valley.

In this sense, the choice of the clay tile moves away from the imaginary of the "Chilean House" as an icon, and rescues it as technological and material resource.
