Danore- Ice Cream Parlor

Danore- Ice Cream Parlor

Dana Shaked as Architects

Danore is a local ice cream store that offers its customers quality Italian Gelato. A large selection of yogurt and ice cream flavors are available to choose from, including various toppings of fruits  and other sweets. All of the ice cream is beautifully displayed in containers with silver and golden lids.

The place is decorated in an Italian style; all the walls of the store are covered with brick wallpaper painted in a cream shade. For the flooring we chose tiles with various cream tones.

The sales counters were carefully designed to accompany the special display refrigerators and to perfectly match other distinct items such as the chocolate fountain.

The counters are encased in brown shades of MDF with prominent frames and notched surfaces combined with golden handles for a classic look. The upper surfaces are made of corian and are covered with a glass sealing.

The main wall displays fixtures are made of thin iron profiles which presents large menus. Just below the menus, you’ll find display boxes for packaging and accessories. The adjoining walls have mirrors with oblique corners and draping plants incorporated into the iron fixtures.

In the seating areas, double round tables with wooden chairs were set up. On the back wall you can notice an iron divider with decorated “granny glass” which allows a peek into the kitchen - where all the magic happens. Unlike many ice cream shops that display a colorful and even childish ambience, the DANORE ice cream shop was designed in a classic & mature european style that reflects the quality of Italian ingredients from which the ice cream is made of.
