A collaborative competition entry developed together with A KUBU, NG ARCHITECTS, and Filippo Erasti.

The result of our collaboration was an excellent project titled “Deimantai” (Diamonds), which earned 4th place. Although we know it deserved to be No. 1.

Particular attention was paid to the surrounding urban geomorphology and the integration of the proposed building into Žvėrynas’ urban fabric — without directly mimicking the existing architecture.

Architecture must progress. If we keep building identical structures, reproducing and copying every surrounding architectural motif, there will be no progress.
