The headquarters, now composed of two buildings dating from the 19th century and the 1950s, embodies the legacy of a family-owned group deeply rooted in the neighborhood. The new project expresses the image of an innovative and environmentally responsible company through the use of durable, bio-based materials (such as wood), harmoniously contrasted with the preserved buildings, which now form the foundation of the complex. The choice of wood is also an architectural gesture, enhancing the atmosphere of the working environment through this warm material, left exposed in both its vertical and horizontal elements.

The extension plans to thicken the two existing buildings by nearly five meters, combined with the construction of a new wing along the greenway. Access points are being redesigned, including the main entrance, which is widened and staged through a glazed façade, as well as the vertical circulation, materialized by a double staircase overlooking the landscaped inner courtyard. The project fully integrates new working patterns resulting from recent developments (COVID, remote work) and draws lessons from them in terms of balancing social interaction and privacy. It thus reconciles various types of workspaces (private offices, shared offices, open-plan areas, and coworking spaces) with diverse functions (auditorium, exhibition space, cafeteria, gym, and reception hall).

Special attention is also given to the relationship between nature and users. The inner courtyard, currently paved and impermeable, will be transformed into an accessible cool island. Roofs and terraces will be extensively landscaped and conceived as true ecosystems. Finally, the modules of the new façades create a dialogue between the interior wood and the exterior metal elements that support climbing vegetation.
