DIFE Shopping Mall (Shanghai) : the project connects two existing buildings of the DIFE headquarter in Shanghai creating a new internal space articulated on two floors of shops and a mezzanine level for cafeteria. The central public area is covered by a long sloped glass roof which allows the natural light come in. The main façade acts as a second skin on the glass façade of the existing building and the monumentality of the black marble cladding plays with the horizontal cuts of light and the transparency of the double height glass at the entrance. The total improvement area is around 7000 sqm.
