E-Car Smart City is an outdoor space of at least 100000 square meters. It shall be provided in the residential zone as a cultural activity space for public cultural facilities. The area of the outdoor cultural activity space shall not be offset by the area of the outdoor sports and fitness space.
General landscape features:
The mountain is used as a background to form a varied urban skyline along the site. With a collection of multi-functional building facades to enrich the landscape along the street, the E-Car Smart City layout of buildings should "show the mountain and expose the water". The project emphasises on the coordination between the building and the height of the mountain.
The relationship between groups of buildings:
Both sides of the new Shuangnan line are reserved for commercial walking squares, focusing on creating a commercial atmosphere along the streets.
Public open space:
Create a multi-level public space system with diversified types and rich levels. All types of spaces are organically connected and transformed from the mountain, creating a rich spatial experience. It is increasing the possibilities of residence in the space and stimulating communication and creative activities.
Architectural style and color:
Adopting a modern and elegant style for commercial office buildings, it reflects the openness of the public. It presents as well an overall modern style of fashion and simplicity. Building colors are primarily gray and white and the use of materials is flexible with glass curtain walls, stone, and metal. Those components enrich the architectural style and emphasize the individuality of the E-Car Smart City building.
Greenscape requirements:
In the road intersection setback area, a plaza open to the street and a green space will connect with the first floor podium. The green landscape should be combined with different spaces and configured. Different types and densities of greenery create a rich spatial atmosphere. Signage systems, public art, and other street furniture will be installed along the roadway to enrich the urban interface.
