What was the brief?
The Project is located in an office building, Calicut cyber park. The job was to design new central offices for “E-synergy”, a leading company in the e -learning school product and e-learning software kits on field.
An ordering and contrast of areas were carried out by taking the existing structural frames as guidelines and the necessity of natural light. The result created a linear disposition, where all the different uses take their place depending on the level required for every space. 100% open workspace that is created in order to bring more collaboration & productivity in the workplace.
Success usually derives from bold thinking, readiness, and having faith in ourselves. An inspiring space, where imagination flows free and minds are empowered to open wide by being able to stare in a distance, might stimulate one to recover these traits. Overall, we were aiming to combine the futuristic with the natural. In harmony with the clear and progressive principles of e-synergy, we designed simple and clear spaces.
What were the key challenges?
A great challenge for us on this project was, as every office/ commercial project is its project time management. So from the beginning we have to be very careful on what we are doing since there is no time for a rethinking.
We have used colors at the ceiling on this small project and that was the challenge we had, so we had to be very careful on any new colors getting into the color palette has to be balanced throughout. But for every challenge and hard work if the users enjoy the space well everything is paid off and thankfully we are happy how this team has already taken new space to their own by exploring and loving to spend more time there and witnessing that is our great achievement.
What materials did you choose and why?
We see that choose a material to make an object depending on its properties, and the purpose for which the object is to be used.
when get the a blank canvas , our teams brain immediately starts to populate with tons of creative ideas, and they begin pulling together materials, samples, design trends, and different colors to help bring their ideas to life.
However, it’s also natural (especially when we wre first starting out) to feel somewhat intimidated by all of the potential choices for new materials and finishes on office interior projects
Often called “finishes,” these materials are the elements that will be used to accentuate the design, cover up structural components, and add any outstanding functionality still needed.
Decisions about materials and finishes will truly determine how the entire design comes together, and whether it meets the client’s needs and feels complete, coherent, and intentional.
The material we’ve chosen will be part of the office structural integrity,
