A house in Passy, from industry to hospitality.
At the end of a cul-de-sac in the chic, lively Passy district, this small building has been designed with Edgar Suites, its operator, as a house rented out in its entirety, able to accommodate eight guests.
On the ground floor, a large, open and very bright space houses the living areas. A spacious living room with kitchen unfolds here, opening onto the private courtyard. A corridor, where a sauna is located, leads to the back of the house, where four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, are spread over the three floors.
The original period staircase serving the levels has been preserved and restored, and the roof framing of the attic, on the top floor, has been showcased.
The works include the complete renovation of the façades and heavy work on the wastewater drainage pipes, which were leaking beneath the house. The exterior joinery has been replaced and the façades are insulated from the inside, improving the building’s thermal performance.
As in all Edgar Suites residences, the house is equipped with a fully functional kitchen and all bedrooms are air-conditioned. The architecture and decoration were designed in collaboration with Studio Louis Morgan.
