FIKA is a house and a shop for an owner who sells Scandinavian goods. We felt that the goods were not just for selling but a collection carefully selected by the owner. The buyer comes to the shop not just to choose something to buy but to meet with the goods. So we made a large shelf were all the goods can be displayed. A cup just washed becomes a product once it is displayed on the shelf. By displaying goods which the owner uses on a daily basis, the shop and the owners life links in a pleasing way.
