Renovation of apartment in Higienópolis, Sao Paulo Downtown.
When I was comissioned for this project, the clients (two young parents and a baby) were actually happy with the other apartment they were living in. But for several reasons, they were moving to a new space.

Having that in mind, the main challenge was to move some of the existing relations of the old apartment to the new one. The dynamics of the triangle hammock - dinning table - tv/sofa was something was one of the relation that we tried to keep in this new apartment.

Also, it was desirable that the kitchen could be confortable for the whole family to participate in preparing the meal.

The living room was thought to be easily changed throughout the years and the kid would grow and its needs and relation with the parents would change.

We positioned the office so that it has connection both with the kitchen and the living room. That way, even if the kid is playing in the living room while both parents are working in the office or in the kitchen, there would be a supervision.
