Grey Palace located in suburbs Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Grey Palace surrounded by Paddy fields, that makes view as the main focus of this house.

This house is consist of 2 floors, That zoned as public and private arae. The 3 primary area pantry, dining, and living room located om 2nd floor, while private area on the first.

The purpose of the public area on the 2nd floor was to create outdoor terrace living so that people can experience surrounding view with higher perspective. In spite of the private area that located in 2nd floor, The main entrance was designed with foyer that act as transition between public and private access.

The design of this house was focused with elements that create a tropical-earthy tone, such as woods, stone, and concrete. The façade was designed with solid elements to give privacy and safety to the house for the reason of the location.

Upon entrance to the private area, There is a courtyard that designed for a large lawn filled with many tropical plants and pool act as the attraction of this house. The pool designed to be connected to public area with an outdoor stairs.

The second pathway that designed to be public area can be access from a long stairs that led to the main entrance. As we enter the house, there is foyer that connect pantry, working room, service access, and working room.

The living-dining area designed to have an open plan with transparent element so that people can enjoy the surrounding view.
