In this luminous and modern project, interior designer Marina Mirasova crafted a space reflecting the vibrant lifestyle of a young entrepreneur. "The challenge was to mold a space that resonated with the owner's dynamic and aesthetic preferences," Marina articulates about her idea.
Nestled in Moscow's famed Clock Tower building along New Arbat, the 100 m² apartment boasts breathtaking views of the city's heart. The customer commissioned a complete renovation in just four months and wanted an interior that was both timeless and modern, radiating seriousness and style. Despite the building’s heritage status and immutable load-bearing walls, the layout remained unchanged.
Marina Mirasova envisioned the interior from the ground up. Catering to the client's preference for deep hues yet aiming to avoid any somberness, she transformed the hallway into a striking feature with a deep hue named EL MAR, reminiscent of ocean depths and sea spray. This entryway is anchored by an imposing metallic artwork by Konstantin ZMOGK, setting the tone for the home’s artistic narrative.
The living and dining areas feature a cohesive palette of understated grey tones with dynamic undercurrents, complemented by warm gold accents in fixtures and stark black decorative touches. Wall treatments made of natural wood infuse the space with warmth and structural integrity, enhancing the color scheme's dark gradients. Meticulously custom-made furniture, including doors, partitions, and wall panels based on the designer's sketches, enriches the home with a sense of completeness and elegance.
"The design choices made here will stand the test of time, ensuring the interior remains as relevant and inviting as when first conceived with the client," reflects Marina Mirasova. This project not only fulfills the practical needs of its owner but does so with a style that transcends the ordinary.
