“Wojciech Modest Amaro is the most renowned and recognizable Polish chef around the world. The “Heart by Amaro” Restaurant, located in Villa Marilor, the historical part of Nosalowy Park Hotel & Spa Zakopane, is Wojciech Modest Amaro's second signature project, which fulfils his dreams about a journey to nature, Polish hospitality and the discovery of flavors that were born in the heart. This cuisine stems from love towards people, respect for products and passion in discovering the local wealth of the Tatras. It also draws inspiration from places that had the greatest impact on the formation of the master’s exquisite cuisine. In Amaro’s own words: “This is how I cook for my family and friends “.
The personal character of the place was reflected in the interiors designed by the supervision of Wojciech Modest Amaro’s wife Agnieszka. “Heart by Amaro is a family place, so there are portraits of my wife and daughters on the wall, as we wanted to emphasize how personally we treat this place. Local inspirations are strongly present, for example in the balusters on the bar, in the openwork cutouts in the interior. We really wanted the interior to be bright, to have a lot of air, a lot of light” says Wojciech Modest Amaro”.
