The apartment is located in the Northern part of Bucharest, very close to our biggest park ( King Michael I Park, previously known as Herastrau Park). We tried to bring the outside inside, choosing vegetal patterns covering the walls while playing with plants and natural colours and materials.
The original layout of the apartment was different in the living area. The kitchen and the livingroom were separated by a wall, which was demolished and replaced, following our proposal, by a metal and glass partition. This new partition is framing the view of the kitchen whilst keeping the two zones separated phisically.
Our main focus was on the mixture between the bold patterns of the walls which represented our clients‘ request, and the minimal and simple cuts of the furniture, creating a balanced yet vibrant look of the space.
This project doesn‘t follow a unique colour palette. It’s a mixture between different colours and various forms of vegetal elements which blend perfectly.
