Multiplying the traditional

The region of Carst was once covered with Oak trees that Venetians have extensively used for building up the City on water. They have left the wind to peel off earth revealing limestone grounds. Tradition of small, compact, stony and almost windowless houses developed and remained until today. Retaining the traditionally small scale volumes the house is composed out of 4 houses that form 2 semi-patios protected from wind. Ascetic interior relates with corridor-less floor plan where dining, cooking, playing and studying work as fluid space connecting private spaces and services.
