It was a rehabilitation project, which unifies three extremely old dilapidated houses in the historic center of Tavira. We tried to structure the house around a typical Mediterranean courtyard, establishing links to access and entrance light with all divisions. We chose also to rehabilitate some parts of the ancient houses, creating a language of architecture simple, functional and welcoming.

We present some old photos of the ancient houses, and the new ones of the house completed.
