What was the brief?
Our clients bought a small two stories house in the center of Craiova. The space for Ground Floor and first floor is about 70 sqm. They wanted to design a spanish influenced tapas bar, with a kitchen at the underground level, bar and seating on the ground floor and an event space with open buffet at the first floor.
What were the key challenges?
Main challenge was to provide the spanish architecture / feeling of warm to a classic building. We managed to do so by adding multiple layers, textures, and details.
What materials did you choose and why?
We used a lot of natural stone, terracotta, painted hand made tiles, leather and vintage objects.
