The square floor plan was dictated by the optimal arrangement of computer racks and the required installation. Assuming an ideal floor height (from top to bottom) of 6 meters, this results in a 48-meter-high building, starting with a ground floor that is also 6 meters high, then 6 layers for the data center, and finally a rooftop floor for the immense installation, which is hidden from view by the high edge of the roof.

The main function of the building is cooling. In fact, the building is no more or less than a large refrigerator for hot data. Once this main function and the fact that it is a cubic building are recognized, association with an ice block is quick. On the south side, where some offices are also located, the ice block melts a bit. On this side, the building appears very soft and the reflective surface of the facade makes it part of the surrounding greenery and water.
