The living bridge - Linking the landscape and connecting the community.
The ‘Geomdan Museum·Library Cultural Complex’, a future ‘green’ cultural landmark emerging from the symbiosis of landscape, cityscape and traces of the past. By gathering the program of the library, museum and education facility under one roof, the reduced footprint of the building allows for structural and energetical and logistical optimization. Each part of the program can share cores and amenity and public space all the while functioning as seperate entities.
By its organic shape following the natural curve of the culture park the museum Library magnifies the esthetic of the park whilst offering generous panoramic view on its landscape. The park and the building mutually enhance one another esthetically and programmatically to generate a place where Nature, city, history, culture and education collaborate in a symbiotic relationship.
