The 'Zwarte Silo' in the Harbor quarter of Deventer has been transformed into a restaurant. 'Raw husk, white pit' is the theme of the new interior of the former grain silo from 1924. We were inspired by the hard work of tough dock workers. The rugged character of the silo and warehouse has remained intact. Robust materials determine the atmosphere: concrete of the funnels, dark walls, copper-red steel, leather and wood. In the open kitchen you can see the chef preparing the food on high heat. The place for lunch, drinks or dinner with 150 seats and a sunny terrace on the water. An inviting hospitallity facility in industrial heritage.
