International Renaissance Foundation Office in Kyiv by MEYT
The office of the International Renaissance Foundation in Kyiv was designed by MEYT as a space that communicates trust, openness, and humanity. The interior reflects the foundation’s core values — transparency, honesty in collaboration, and care for people — while supporting a wide range of daily and strategic activities.
The concept focuses on creating a calm, contemporary working environment suitable for focused work, teamwork, meetings, and hosting guests. Clean lines, flexible planning, and a restrained color palette establish a professional yet welcoming atmosphere.
The heart of the office is a spacious central hall with a large modular conference table and deep blue velvet chairs. This blue tone becomes the key accent of the interior, adding energy while maintaining restraint and clarity. The modular table system allows the space to adapt easily to different scenarios — from large meetings to individual workstations or open-floor events.
A glass marker board positioned opposite the media zone forms a unified working axis, supporting presentations, brainstorming sessions, and strategic discussions. Sliding glass partitions allow the main hall to be visually open or acoustically separated as needed.
Curtains along the glass partitions play both a spatial and acoustic role, softening sound and creating privacy without isolating spaces. Smaller meeting rooms located behind glass walls are filled with natural daylight and finished in warm, neutral tones. Living greenery is integrated into these rooms, supporting well-being and creating a sense of calm during conversations and focused work.
A compact coffee point and kitchen area are positioned along circulation paths for everyday convenience. Matte beige cabinetry, integrated appliances, and carefully planned storage ensure functionality without visual overload. A bar counter with blue velvet stools reinforces the project’s color identity and creates a cozy social corner within the office.
The color concept continues into auxiliary spaces, including restrooms, where blue built-in storage elements subtly reinforce the overall design language.
The result is a flexible, human-centered workspace that balances functionality with atmosphere. The interior supports collaboration, focus, and communication while remaining visually calm and coherent — an office designed to work quietly and effectively for the people inside it.
