A design proposal for a mixed-use tower: a three-storey stone podium holds the street line, the shopfronts and the entrances, and carries a residential tower above it. Continuous horizontal bands wrap the corners, working as brise-soleil and balcony in the same move; where a band breaks, a double-height planted terrace opens on that face.
