Nestled in the foot hills of Genting, this three storey bungalow was designed for a family and is a picture of modern eco-design. With lush landscaping along the border of the house, the divide between the residence and nature has been blurred, a good use of the surrounding greenery. The primary material used is glass, allowing for ambient light to filter through as well as for the flora outside the house to be viewed. The mosquito net facade is integral to the design of the house, both practically and aesthetically, with the former serving as protection to the otherwise open means of ventilation, and the latter with a tree motif embellishment, further strengthening the harmony of this residence and nature - and how the two are one.
