For JE Consultancy, the Fresh Perspective designed a new workplace within the historic Muntgebouw in Utrecht. The move to one central location marked a new phase for the organisation and called for an interior that naturally supports collaboration, interaction and focused work.

The monumental character of the building formed the starting point for the design. Rather than introducing a completely separate new layer, the interior draws inspiration from the existing architecture. Colours, materials and details found throughout the Muntgebouw were translated into the new workplace, creating a natural connection between old and new.

Within this historic setting, JE Consultancy was given a clear identity of its own. Warm materials and calm tones are combined with carefully placed colour accents, including JE’s distinctive magenta. Bespoke elements, planting and selected furniture bring cohesion to the different spaces.

The workplace offers a variety of settings for individual work, meetings and focused activities. Freestanding acoustic pods provide privacy for calls and meetings without interfering with the historic structure. At the heart of the office, the kitchen and bar create a central place for informal interaction throughout the day.

The result is a contemporary workplace that respects the history and character of the Muntgebouw while providing a strong setting for JE Consultancy’s identity, culture and future growth.
