Keep brand offline retail experience physical store

Leaping Creative as Interior Architects

Keep, a leading sports technology brand, has commissioned the brand experience design team LeapingCreative to create their first offline retail space, aiming to deliver an "all-in-one sports solution" experience scenario.

During the initial research, designers find out that often, a typical user scenario of Keep is buying a yoga mat from Keep online and following the online training program offered by Keep for home exercise, LeapingCreative has proposed the concept of a "One-Square-Meter Gym" and developed it into an area within the store for "Free Movement Field."

Additionally, LeapingCreative has associated the visual language of the yoga mat throughout the space, breaking away from traditional sports brand imagery to present a comfortable and warm spatial experience, thus achieving the expression of "sports is part of daily life."

The overall interior space is primarily branded with color tones and wood shades, creating a light and futuristic color scheme that sculpts a retail environment for the brand that is lifestyle-oriented, comfort, and dynamic.

The material selection features eco-friendly cork flooring and soft TPE materials, balanced with man-made stone and soft membrane ceilings, achieving a harmonious blend of soft and hard textures.

LeapingCreative has adopted a "flexible curatorial" method to create adaptable experience scenarios in the core interactive areas of the store.

These scenarios are designed to meet a variety of needs, such as professional fitness instruction, community activity sharing, and the display of wearable smart products.

The space used some elements which are closely connected with familiar elements from the online APP “Keep” , such as the classic BGM "321, go!" and brand slogan "Self-discipline gives me freedom."

The product display in the retail area showcases a variety of functional scenarios — yoga equipment, muscle building and fat loss, home exercise goodies, outdoor gear, and more.

The surface of the low cabinet mimics the soft texture of a yoga mat, and the shelves can be flexibly combined, maintaining the consistency of the overall design language.

Designer created a medal wall which showcase the event medals from Keep at the entrance. The medal is the most iconic and popular souvenirs for its online community.

(The product experience scenario )
This interactive experience section is relaxed and highly flexible, presenting products thematically and truly showcasing an atmosphere of sports integrated into daily life.

Free-flowing lines are present in every detail of the space. The ceiling is adorned with custom dark gray perforated panels that conceal the ceiling pipes, and the large uppercase 'K' lettering sprayed on them turns the ceiling into a branding feature as well.
