The basement floor has a higher level of detail and variation in function that provides the conditions for a rich citylife. The block contains reveral functions that all contribute to a vibrant city. Co-working attracts people during working hours, the studio premises provide a lively ground floor and the residents of the co-housing house populate the block in the evening and at night. A large number of flexible studios are located within the block, which can be used for small offices, shops or artist studios.

As you move around the block, the height of the building, the expressions of the facade and content change. The diversity of functions that exist provides a richness in facade expression and scale.
