The L apartment has been structured on the ground floor of an old building from the beginning of the 17th century. It has been designed on the concept of using the double height to define a usable space on one side and a scenographic space on the other one. The dwelling is divided in common areas on the ground floor and the private spaces on the loft, creating a sinuous double height series of volumes. The design develops a complexity both on plan and section, which is reflected on a dynamic joint of volumes. The garden, with its richness of plants inspired to the english gardens, takes a step towards the inside giving a lively and calm ambience to the apartment. The loft has been pushed out toward the garden to enjoy the greenery. Here the joint of volumes becomes more complex and the access takes place from a common stairs. The kitchen is compact and full of pastel colors, those create a strong contrast with the yellow and green colors of the garden.
