Living Sopro

Among the many focal points that capture attention upon entering the space created by Andressa and her team, the architect’s keen eye for the arts stands out through the new collection by artist Mitushi. Known for her sensitive, light, and deeply meditative visual language, the ceramist chose Living Sopro for the pre-launch of her latest, unreleased works.

“The presence of these pieces gives the space not only aesthetic but also curatorial value, authentically and elegantly connecting contemporary art with interior architecture. Mitushi’s works speak directly to the project’s concept, contributing expressively to the contemplative, fluid, and poetic atmosphere of Living Sopro. More than complementing the space, they expand it,” reflects Andressa.

The starting point for the living room was the idea of creating a space that acts as a breath within the home — a place where time slows down and presence becomes the priority. The palette of materials and textures brings in natural elements such as wood, stone, soft fabrics, and organic surfaces, all evoking fluidity and warmth.

Brass accents, used sparingly, emphasize the refined character of the space, reflecting light discreetly and contributing to a scene of subtle, silent luxury. Among the different areas that make up the living room, the library stands out for its emotional resonance, inspired by the architect’s childhood memories. Andressa revisits the nostalgia of moments spent among books, translating them into a corner of introspection, calm, and affection — a space where time slows down.

The Living Sopro was conceived from the original floor plan of the future residential development that will be built on the very site hosting CASACOR. The design faithfully respects the layout and circulation planned for the final project, adding value to what is already envisioned for future residents.

Without altering or masking the original structure, the environment embraces it as an essential part of the concept — a real and possible space. The plan was maintained in its essence, with choices that explore flow, light, and breathing space, while preserving the functionality required for everyday living.

“Living Sopro is meant to be lived in — a pause in the routine and an invitation to contemplation. It reflects what we believe in at the studio: architecture designed for people, with soul, with art, and with memory,” concludes Andressa.
