After 14 years of activity L’oasi del capello opens a new location in a more visible area with bigger and brighter spaces. We’ve been in charge of the project since the very beginning -while the building was under renovation- starting with the interior layouts, moving to the systems disposition and finally working on decorations and furniture, mainly designed and custom crafted by local artisans. The owner and her team are young women, friendly, dynamic and from the very first moment we met, we believed they needed a more welcoming and creative environment.
We chose a captivating and versatile style with wooden details and warm gray jute- covered walls, mixed with black and charcoal, for a more technical and professional working station look. Details as the vintage carpenter’s counter, the restroom door with the iron bolt, the salvaged retro’ style mirrors and the old barber chair play a key role in giving character to working environment otherwise traditionally approached with a standard and serial design. The three wall mirrors located by the working positions were custom made and put together with big iron-made frames hanged to the ceiling to create an effect of lightness and suspension. Specific interest was dedicated to the lighting design: the use of very 'scenographic' warm lamps is well integrated with more technical light fixtures. These are specifically designed and located on the working stations for an ideal understanding of colors and for an overall illumination of the operative areas.
