Malecón Mazatlán | WORC Ricardo Martínez + Camila Ureña

Malecón Mazatlán is a residential development that translates this premise into a clear strategy: to make the most of the site’s conditions in order to offer a spacious, efficient, and landscape-connected living experience.

Located along one of the city’s most prominent coastal avenues, the project organizes the site into two main volumes: a low-rise tower that respects the urban scale of the malecón, and a taller tower that rises freely toward the horizon.

Between them, a sequence of gardens, walkways, and shared spaces articulates the route from the entrance to the upper levels. All units feature dual orientation, cross ventilation, and abundant natural light. These decisions help reduce reliance on mechanical systems and improve thermal comfort, while strengthening the direct connection between interior and exterior.

The habitable balconies, integrated with planters, function as living extensions of each unit. They provide shade, privacy, and a constant visual  relationship with the environment. In the Garden Houses and duplex apartments, vegetation and light accompany daily life, offering a sense  of openness without excess.

At the top of the project, the amenities open toward the sea as a natural  extension of the spatial journey. More than a formal conclusion, these  spaces complete the residential experience by integrating landscape, leisure, and outdoor living into a single horizon.
