The principal requirement was the necessity to have 13-14 meters of free space, without columns, in an area of 15x30m. Avoiding intermediate columns led to propose a structural system like a 'box'. The assembly of the structural system with peripheral columns allows sections of 30x40cm, helping maximum use of interior space.
