The project is a combination of punctual extensions generating new ways of using the living space.

On the ground floor a central core (kitchen + WC) articulates the dining and living space, let the users flow freely on that level in a generous and abundant light. With a North orientation, the extensions opens and orients the plan towards the garden with big opening for natural light.

The kitchen, once isolated in a separated room, becomes the central piece organizing the fluxes. On the roof level a new master bed room with a bathroom is created as well as a polyvalent room.

All the structure and the construction elements of the project are revealed. Steel beams, wooden joists participate to the identity of the house; they are valued and becomes ornamental with a rough and honest feeling.

The kitchen, also designed by NOTAN OFFICE is also thought through the same logic. Proposing different depth, materials and capable of generating different spatial qualities all around.
