Mn-HOUSE is one of the houses in the series of the "F.O.B HOMES" project, on which we work. It is categorized to "low cost" but it's not the full story about it.
Mn-HOUSE depends on the small residential spatial volume which is derived by the usage of land involving the proposal of the way of living.
A small house is built within one hour's drive from central Tokyo, in the "cheap and wide" land. Being small, as for life consisting, the life itself is exposing outside and is synchronized with the kitchen. This connection is realized by the "TOORI NIWA" - PASS GARDEN that connects the front yard with the rear yard. Garage is located in the front yard. As for the rear yard, the terrace and the kitchen garden are allotted.
This house is a proposal of another solution from the F.O.B HOMES to the method of an urban life formed by building a narrow house on narrow lot in the city center.
