New Cairo is a new city in the Cairo Governorate in Egypt and seeks to adopt a modern character that is clearly reflected in its architecture. The city pace is looking for workplaces providing a pleasant working environment, of high aesthetics that make them attractive to the employees but also, stick to the professional character that they were made for. So, the New Connection Offices was born, an office building designed by the Yasser Mansour Concept Architects (YMCA), ideal for any business requirement and activity even for a large number of employees.
It is a composition of geometric volumes, rectangular and cylindrical, that are harmoniously combined with each other and give the illusion of movement to this unique architectural creation. Its appearance is in natural earthy tones that are very close to the Egyptian traditional culture. The great working environment inside is enhanced by the natural light that penetrates thanks to the curtain walls that cover the building. Large and small openings create architectural interest, despite the simple design lines. Finally, the challenge that was finally completed thanks also to the aluminium systems used, giving great additional value to the project, was to get LEED certification. This is a distinction that characterizes the building as "green", which means of high sustainable development and low environmental footprint.
