There is an exciting new project taking shape in Miami Beach from the Coral Gables office of global design and architecture firm Perkins+Will. Designed to mesh with the Bernard Zyscovich-designed Regal Cinemas and the Herzog & de Meuron-designed 1111 Lincoln Road parking garage across the street and on the east side of Lincoln Road, the development of 1212 Lincoln Road brings another illustrious firm to the block, enhancing the neighborhood with what will manifest as an innovative, futuristic take on mixed use retail space.
According to Jose Gelabert-Navia, who is leading the design of 1212 Lincoln Road, the building will boast a transparent façade and a canopy that frames the entire structure. Tenants will include high end retail outlets. Once complete, 1212 Lincoln Road will include 83,484 square feet of commercial space and 297 parking spaces.
