The design intention was to make a gate way for Niketon Housing Society as a symbolic connecting gesture between the area and the city context. Placed on a narrow strip of road two different heights of walls are connected diagonally creating a monolith. The lower wall represents the housing area whilst the taller one as the greater context of Dhaka city, interlinked through smooth surface angles. The atypical shape makes the structure distinct among the cluster of surrounding buildings.
