The Slender elegance of the Noble Tower rises 190 metres into the Shenzhen skies. Strategically located in the city’s central business district, it lies between civic buildings to the west and residential neighbourhoods to the east, and houses 70,000 square metres of prime office space.
Directed by the client’s wish to enhance the building’s elevations according to predefined architectural plans, TFP's design proposal was to create a unique 40-storey building that would be given a distinct identity and stature by means of minamilist but striking scheme. The brief also included the design for the facade and cladding of the low-rise annexe building.
TFP applied a vertical-order, curtain-wall treatment to the tower with a sectional detail that produced a spandrel height relating to the space configuration of the interior.
