"O Pato" is a villa located in the exclusive residential complex Corasol in Playa del Carmen, and it is one of the numerous Palm Villas Estate Homes. While the architectural execution of the villas was carried out by Sordo Madaleno, the interiors of this particular villa were meticulously crafted by Cuaik CDS. The villa's design is rooted in a modular grid structure, which not only provides a flexible framework but also facilitates interventions.
The central concept driving this project was the use of raw and gentle materials for both finishes and furnishings, thereby allowing the art pieces to command attention throughout the residence.
These art pieces seamlessly complement the space without overwhelming it, infusing the surroundings with a sense of dynamism.
The use of apparent materials contributes to a sense of warmth and containment within the space, harmonizing with the tropical and neutral tones provided by the beach view.
The villa proudly showcases the Alma chair, the Estepa II chair for outdoor dining, and the sofa in the main bedroom. Alongside several other pieces, these were meticulously designed by Piztola, the sibling furniture brand under the umbrella of Cuaik CDS, and were exclusively crafted for this specific villa.
This villa serves as a quintessential example of the holistic design approach embodied by Cuaik CDS. It effectively communicates the collaborative teamwork that underpins every decision made to shape the interiors of this exceptional residence.
