Oliver Wyman, a leading global strategy consulting firm, has relocated its Paris teams into a new headquarters designed to fully embody the firm's identity. Parella led the project end-to-end, from strategic advisory and workplace design through to technical coordination and artistic curation.
The brief called for more than a functional workplace, requiring a space conceived as a complete sensory journey. The space is organised across three distinct levels, each defined by use and intensity. The ground floor is open and dynamic, fostering informal interaction. The middle floor is quieter, dedicated to focused and support-based work. The top floor is given over entirely to client relations, combining presence, clarity and representation. Materials were chosen for their texture and warmth, including fine woods, fully recycled felt and earthy tones. Lighting was treated as a defining element, designed to adapt to different uses and give rhythm to the spaces throughout the day.
Flexibility was prioritised throughout the design process. Offices can be converted into private rooms, project spaces adapt to team needs, and concentration pods provide quiet retreats for focused work. Social spaces were designed with hospitality in mind, favoring a subtle, human approach.
Art was woven into the project from the start, curated in partnership with LdG Art & Patrimoine. Among the works is a suspended sculpture in blown glass and brass by French artist Janique Bourget, installed in the entrance hall. Together, the art, architecture and design create a space that feels considered and immersive for both employees and clients.
